After last year’s cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Formula 1 return to Monte Carlo for the historic Monaco Grand Prix.

The iconic and challenging 3.337km circuit winds through the Principality, with drivers firing past landmarks such as The Monte Carlo Casino just metres from the edge of the track.

Monaco has always combined the glamour of F1 with history, so it is the perfect venue for Williams to celebrate their 750th F1 race, making them only the third team in history to achieve this.

George and his teammate Nicholas Latifi will both sport tribute helmets to mark this incredible occasion as well as sporting the names of 100 fans on the halo of their FW43B.

George Russell – Williams Racing Driver

“I’m really looking forward to Monaco. It was a shame to miss the race last year due to the reshuffled calendar as it’s one of the most exhilarating and thrilling laps of the season. It will be great to be back, and I can’t wait to get on track and have the overall Monaco experience.

It’s also going to be a huge weekend for the team as we mark our 750th race, which is an incredible achievement and something I’m proud to be part of.”

George will be on track for FP1 on Thursday May 20 from 10:30am BST.
