George Russell is geared-up to kick-start his second season in Formula One, prepared to contest this weekend’s Australian Grand Prix with ROKiT Williams Racing.

After making his debut at motorsport’s top flight last season, George returns to Melbourne for a second time, racing around the 5.303km-long Melbourne Street Circuit – a venue that demands experience and physical endurance with 16 demanding corners.

Coming off the back of a productive pre-season testing period, in which George completed 393 laps of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the Briton enters Formula 1’s impending competition with refreshed optimism in ROKiT Williams Racing’s refined FW43 package.

“I am excited to head back to Melbourne, and to start racing again. It is one of the best circuits on the calendar, it is unique and has a lot of character.
The team have worked extremely hard off the back of last season, and we hope that we have found some more performance and have continued to make progress ahead of the season start in Melbourne”

Partneredby former fellow Formula 2 competitor Nicholas Latifi, George will take to thetrack on Friday, March 13 in FP1 ahead of the first race of Formula 1’slandmark 70th season on March 15.
