Bonding over their family origins, love of cars, music, and most importantly, Formula One, George and Maisy’s collaboration came together at the British Grand Prix when the Briton took the singer-songwriter on a tour of the ROKiT Williams Racing garage.
Agreeing to promote one another through their work, George will feature in an upcoming music video while Maisy’s name, in return, will be featured on the driver’s helmet for the remaining races of the 2019 Formula One season and the entirety of 2020.
Maisy’s new EP, “Do Better”, featuring six tracks that tell the story of a couple’s turbulent, up-and-down relationship, will be available on all DSPs later this year.
George Russell - ROKiT Williams Racing Driver:
“I recently showed Maisy Kay around the car, she knew quite a lot about Formula 1 as her family is really passionate about the sport. I have really enjoyed listening to her music and happy I could offer to help promote her new EP.”
Maisy Kay -Singer-Songwriter:
“As a family we are all massive fans of Formula 1, so I was so excited to meet George at Silverstone. To be able to promote my music to a new audience of F1 fans is a great opportunity and I am sure my fans will love seeing George in one of my videos.”
